4ème Salon Africain du Développement Durable 2014, c’est parti!

Le Mardi 11 Novembre 2014, au siège de l’ONG AMISTAD, le Commissariat Général du Salon Africain du Développement Durable a procédé au lancement de la 4ème édition de la rencontre institutionnelle africaine des acteurs engagés dans la promotion du développement durable en Afrique. 

Il s’est agit pour Brice DELAGNEAU, Commissaire général du salon, Gilles Landry DOSSAN, Chargé des relations internationales et Barnus GBEKIDE, Photo-journaliste de présenter les objectifs, les enjeux et les articulations de cette quatrième édition. En effet, suite à la consécration de l’année 2014 comme celle de l’Agriculture familiale et au regard des avancées notables constatées dans les pays africains producteurs de bois, les acteurs engagés dans la promotion du développement durable avait décidé déjà en 2013 de se retrouver autour du thème: AGRICULTURE, FORESTERIE ET INNOVATIONS EN AFRIQUE.

Selon le Commissaire Général, Brice DELAGNEAU, ce thème permettra de promouvoir les innovations liées au développement de l’agriculture  et de la foresterie en Afrique. Pour ce faire les activités, qui vont durer quatre jours, sont reparties entre une exposition photo, des animations de stands, des ateliers d’échanges, une université du développement durable, des dédicaces, une rencontre avec le Directeur de Cabinet de la Présidente de la Commission de l’Union Africaine et un dîner gala pour remercier les participants et récompenser les acteurs engagés dans la promotion du développement durable des secteurs publics, privés, les journalistes et de la société civile.

Quant à M. DOSSAN Gilles Landry, il a mentionné que la présence de SEM NATAMA Jean Baptiste, Directeur de Cabinet de la Présidente de la Commission de l’Union Africaine, en qualité d’invité d’honneur est une opportunité à saisir pour la jeunesse africaine présente en Côte d’Ivoire. Vu que la journée du 10 Décembre 2014 sera consacrée à une rencontre entre l’invité d’honneur et les jeunes, il est important que les jeunes leaders se mobilisent pour poser les questions essentielles liées à leurs problématique. A savoir le chômage, la contribution des jeunes à faire taire les armes, l’éducation et la formation, les stages, l’intégration régionale, etc. 

M. Barnus GBEKIDE, photo-journaliste, a décidé de présenter une exposition de près de 20 planches pour sensibiliser sur l’impact des sacs plastiques. Pour lui, la photo est un outil puissant qui en plus d’immortaliser un instant constitue un canal de sensibilisation qui fait prendre conscient à l’homme de l’état de son environnement.

Pour finir, les organisateurs de la quatrième édition du SADUR 2014, ont invité toute la population à se rendre à l’Université Félix Boigny d’Abidjan-Cocody, du 11 au 13 Décembre 2014 pour échanger avec les professionnels de l’Agriculture et de la Foresterie afin de découvrir toutes les opportunités d’emplois et d’innovations qui puissent exister.
